Everybody has a tasty guilty pleasure. Whether it's chocolate, cake or cheesy chips, we all have one food we just can't get enough of. And honestly... we don't care!

As long as you're eating normally, it shouldn't really matter if you take the odd trip down the luxurious route from time to time. Or in my case, the sugary route.

Honestly, I'll admit that my guilty pleasure is more of an obsession. Yes, I'm obsessed with biscuits.

I can't decide what it is. Is it the fact that you can dip them in a cup of tea? Is it because there's a large range of biscuits available? or is it purely the fact that they taste absolutely amazing?

Actually I can decide - it's all of the above.

If I make a cup of tea at any time of the day... I have to grab a bourbon or a custard cream to accompany it. It'd be rude not to.

They're also perfect in size, for if you're hoping to grab something quick and tasty.

However, I'm having quite a bad period with biscuits... purely due to the fact that I find it impossible to have just the one. One biscuit turns into two, and two turns into the packet (not literally, but you get the picture). I just love them so much.

If you were to casually ask me what my favourite biscuit is on the street, i probably wouldn't be able to answer. I mean, I know what my top two would be... but it would take me some time to actually decide.

So, with honest effort, I've listed my top 5 biscuits...

quick ps. (I often go through stages where this list will change)

Rich tea's are literally the perfect biscuit for dipping into tea, which I think is really important. To be honest this this is the main reason I chose this as my number five, as opposed to a digestive. Biscuits like the digestive, which is quite crumbly, can easily leave lots of pieces in your cup of tea. With a rich tea (unless you leave it in too long), it's one smooth move.

4. NICE
The description is literally in the name. In fact, they're very "nice". Definitely one for the sweet tooth as it's covered in sugar crystals. Another great one for dunking into a tea or coffee. These coconut-flavoured treats can be slightly addictive when you've got the packet just in front of you.

Malted milk's are as close to the top as I couple possibly put them, without effecting the positions of the bourbon and custard cream. In terms of taste, these biscuits are one of the best. In fact, I don't really think dunking these in tea is all that important. I love everything there is to a malted milk: the taste, the shape... it all works perfectly.

The decision to put the bourbon second was quite a difficult one. I don't know why but both the bourbon and the custard cream have always been the main biccys in my life, and still are to this day (so I must put them at the top). I love the cream centre in the bourbon and the chocolatey taste. (I'm one of those really annoying people who eat one layer and then the other afterwards)...

Okay, custard creams are officially my favourite sandwich. Similarly to the bourbon, it's filled with a delicious, creamy and sugary filling and sandwiched in the biscuit. The world's largest custard cream was made in 2013, and if it tastes anything like the original, well... I could probably demolish it.

Well that's my list and a little bit about my relationship with biscuits. What are your favourites?

Hope you enjoyed!

FOOD: Make Bacon With Water!

Bacon is one of the many delicacies that holds my life together and it's something that is so simple to cook.

There are so many things you can do with bacon. Wrap it around a sausage and make Pigs in Blankets, put it in a bun and make a butty and even put them on pancakes.

One of the biggest problems with cooking bacon is the amount of oil you have to use. 100g of vegetable oil contains an outstanding 900 calories, so just imagine how many of those calories are going towards your bacon.

Well... there's something you can do about that.

I was doing a bit of research and amazingly discovered that cooking bacon with WATER as opposed to oil is just as easy and just as tasty.

It's one of those things I can guarantee you've never tried (unless you have) - and it's one of those things you should try!

Here's a quick method...

1. Get as much bacon as you can fit in your pan
I've used Tesco Everday Value smoked bacon (I'm a student, don't expect sparkling). It's just as good as any other bacon to be honest and it's cheaper.

I only wanted two pieces of bacon anyways but that's all that was going to fit in this pan as it's quite small. Use a bigger pan if you're cooking for more than yourself.

2. Add enough water to slightly cover the bacon
You don't really have to use a lot of water for this, it should just slightly cover the bacon. You should have it on medium heat as you want the water to evaporate moderately. As it evaporates you'll see that bubbles will start forming, but you'll notice that the bacon shouldn't be spitting.

3. Once evaporated, the cooking truly begins
The water should eventually fully evaporate and the cooking can really begin and the bacon will begin crisping. Just cook it normally and this step doesn't take long at all. When I cooked mine during this method, the fat turned really crispy and tasted amazing. It may look crazy on this picture, but it was ridiculously good.

I obviously wasn't going to just have bacon, so I finished my breakfast with sausages, eggs, beans and toast.

Here's the finished masterpiece... .

Hope you enjoyed! Good luck cooking your own bacon with water...

8 useless things people say

I feel like this post is a rant, more than anything. There are just a few things that people say that are just completely useless, WE ALL DO IT.

Here's my list of 10 useless things that people have said to me in the past:

Okay, we've all done this. You know when you can't quite remember the name of someone but for some reason you expect people to know who we're talking about? So for some reason we describe them as "thingy"
Example: "You know thingy?" or "Are you going to thingy's party?"

I saw this on Instagram the other day (reposted) and it was posted on Twitter a while ago, it said...

"stop thinking about it" wow thank you I am cured you should write a book

In terms of advice, this is the most pointless piece of advice you could possibly ever give someone. Saying "don't think about it" is not going to help someone stop thinking about what they're upset about.

Depending on what the problem is, just comfort them!

This one's just as bad as people who say "no offence, but...".

It's quite clear that you're going to offend the people or insult them so what's the point?

If you have a problem you might as well just get it out in the open without the whole "I'm not being funny, but"

How much do you think it is? It's POUNDland...

This is one of the most frustrating things I see all over Facebook and Twitter. Those people who are upset and obviously you feel sympathetic and you ask what's wrong with them. Of course I understand that you don't want to reveal what's wrong on Facebook, I wouldn't either, but if you're going to put a status up like that, don't reply with "nothing, it doesn't matter"

I feel like you shouldn't put the status up if you're not expecting people to be asking what's wrong with you. They're posting that comment so they can listen to your problems and comfort you.

Better yet than putting a status up, just contact someone that you can talk to. It's better than posting it on Facebook to hundreds of people.

I don't know where I plan to be tomorrow let alone in ten years time.

It's not too bad when you have one or two items but when you have a full shop and they ask you if you want a bag?... Come on.

Where do you think I'm going to put it? Balance it on my head and hope for the best?

8. IS YOUR FOOD OKAY? (More than once)

This doesn't apply if a waiter/waitress asks you if your food's okay just the once... you complement the food and then that should be that.

The amount of times I've been sat in a restaurant and I've been asked if my food is okay every 15 minutes is crazy! My opinion on the food isn't going to change since the last time I asked you. I understand they're just doing their job but it does get a little bit frustrating when it happens continuously.

Hope you enjoyed! Check out the rest of my posts

11 things you learn from tinder

Unless you're living under a rock, it's likely you know what Tinder is. It came into power a couple of years ago and now it's one of the biggest social matchmaking apps in the world.

Let's be honest it's not the best way to find love, if you want it. I just think it's a bit of fun if you're bored.

I've compiled a list of things that I have learnt over the past year or so whilst having Tinder. If you're new to the app... well consider it as a pre-warning. If you've had it for a while, I'm sure you can relate to some of the things listed below.

People who are in relationships still use it
For me, this is one of the strangest things I see on Tinder. You can be swiping by and all of a sudden you'll see a picture of what is quite clearly a couple. You'll even have a look at their other pics to clarify and then there'll be even more pictures of them together.

I don't really understand why you need tinder if you're in a relationship? It's the fact that you're matching with somebody else despite already having your "match" in front of you! And here's me sitting alone on tinder with a custard cream trying to swipe right and find the man of my dreams.

So greedy.

People lie about their age
FOR GOODNESS SAKE PEOPLE. Don't match with somebody without looking at their profile first. The amount of people who lie about their age is absolutely ridiculous!

I mean, usually you can tell by the picture if they're older or younger than it says by their name, but it's safe to check just in case you can't tell. I've had people who say they are around 20 and they have grey hair, a bald patch and reading glasses! LEGIT.

Nearly everybody you know has it
I can guarantee that if you're on Tinder, you will absolutely swipe past somebody that you're familiar with. You'll see even more people if you have your distance set at the maximum!

You'll see your friends, friends of friends and probably some of your former friends. You'll probably swipe right to one of them too... then be offended when you see they haven't done the same. RUDE.

Even if you match with somebody, it's unlikely you'll ever hear from them
Honestly, I think I've only spoken to around three people on Tinder and I've had it for around two years.

I'm one of those people who doesn't like to talk first, so it's probably my fault. If you're one of those people too, don't expect much in terms of communication between your matches.

Don't stick to the first picture
This should be a rule, literally. If you're one of those people who are all about the looks, then you must look at another picture before you swipe right. PLEASE.

Obviously people are going to choose the best picture they have of themselves as their main. The amount of people who look amazing on their opener and then you swipe right and they look nothing like they did in the first picture is actually astonishing.

Don't trust them if they don't have an actual pic of themselves

How do people expect you to swipe right when they can't see what you look like. It's a matchmaking site, people do not want to see a picture of a horse or a car as your main picture. I mean, I'd rather they didn't put a picture on at all than a picture of a horse? (It's not quite as bad if it's past the opening picture).

It also really confuses me when they have a daft picture (eg. a horse) and then they have pictures of themselves later on in the set. Like... WHAT'S THE POINT? You could be getting matches but instead you're being ignored.

PS - I don't actually mind horses

Everybody loves a pout
We all love a good selfie... don't deny it. Honestly, I think a selfie is probably the best way of making yourself look half decent and usually I look like a moose if it's not a selfie. Many of us also love a good pout!

Expect almost everybody you see to be pouting. It's crazy how many people have given up on smiling... I myself have followed this craze.

Conversations don't last long
Unless you're really getting into a good conversation with someone or even met somebody from Tiner, don't expect much of a conversation.

I still get people asking me "WUU2?" and that's pretty much where the conversation ends for me.

You'll discover some amazing names you've never heard of
Just go through your Tinder now... I bet you find a name you've never even heard of.

I'm all for an unusual name though. ALSO EXPECT A LOT OF MATTHEWS.

(IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR NUMBERS) Don't put a horrid pic on your moments
I hope this one isn't important to you to be honest. If you care about how many matches you're getting and are emotionally scarred when you lose a match, then don't put a bad picture on your moments.

I NEVER use moments, but one day I put a selfie up of me at the gym and all of a sudden I started losing people! (TBF... I was sweaty and don't really understand why I put that on tinder, oh well we all make mistakes).

Don't expect to find "the one"

If you're looking for love... then look further please because Tinder is not the answer. It's highly unlikely that one match is going to be your true love. I think it's just a bit of fun when you're bored, as I said earlier.

Just go out, get your groove on and find love elsewhere.

Hope you enjoyed! x

10 songs that have kept me sane so far this year

*****FIRST POST!*****

Okay so here's a little pre list p.s. - I understand that the majority of these songs came out before the year started... this is just a list of some of the songs that I literally can't stop listening to at this moment in time!

The list isn't really in any particular order, but honestly Uptown Funk deserves the top spot anyways.

1. UPTOWN FUNK - Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars
To be totally honest with you it's pretty disappointing that I first heard this song on The X Factor, from somebody that wasn't Bruno Mars. It wasn't even a good year on it either... don't get me wrong Fleur was talented but when you hear the original, it's just a bit of a shame I think.

It's a good job Mark Ronson released the song not long after, because it has been my favourite song for MONTHS. I can't get enough of it... I keep thinking that it's going to be one of those songs that is so amazing that it's played so much and you lose all interest (EG. Airplanes - B.O.B.+ Hayley Williams), but this is different for me!

It is just so funky! I literally get so excited when it comes on during a night out and everybody's dancing to it. There's literally no way you can stand still when it's on. It's strange because I'm not really a fan of Bruno Mars, but I can't really see anybody else singing this song, it's perfect for him!

2. CRAZY IN LOVE (2014 Fifty Shades Remix) - Beyoncé
Honestly, I could have mentioned every single Beyoncé song recorded and put it in this list, that's how immense my love is for Queen Bey. I haven't actually seen Fifty Shades yet, but obviously I've heard this beast of a remix.

It's sexy, it's hot and it's just simply a masterpiece. I love the creativity of the song, nearer to the end (got me looking, so crazy, my baby) and then coming into the first verse and a powerhouse of a chorus.

Even though I enjoyed Emeli Sandé's version of the track for The Great Gatsby, I was really hoping that it was Beyonce herself that would be recording this and thank goodness it was!

3. FOURFIVESECONDS - Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney
HALLELUJAH! Rihanna has finally ascended from the shadows and provided us with a brand new track, with Kanye West and the Beatles legend that is Paul McCartney.

When the track first came out, I instantly loved it. I think it was honestly because I was listening to Rihanna again after SO LONG without a single. I love how the song sounds so beautiful, yet basically means that I can't wait to go out on Friday and get so smashed that I may or not make it back home on Monday...

They performed the hit at the Grammy's and it was just amazing. You can see how much Rihanna has developed as a performer and I feel like we're finally seeing her at her best!

Can't wait to see what's next from her.

4. STYLE - Taylor Swift
I don't even know where my sudden obsession with Taylor Swift has came from. To be honest I hadn't really listened to her much before the release of 1989 (even though I had Red). But I think so many of the songs on the album were that good that I just fell in love instantly!

Style is literally one of my favourites. It doesn't really take a lot for the track to get stuck in your head and have you singing away, which is similar to Blank Space.

I'm so happy that she's just released the video for it too and with her 1989 World Tour starting soon, you can tell that this could well be the year that Taylor Swift truly blossoms.

5. L.A. LOVE (LA LA) - Fergie
Quite honestly, I didn't hear this song until January this year. Which is weird because it was released in September and I'm such a big fan of Fergie... I'm clearly just not keeping with the times.

L.A. Love (La La) is such a fabulous song and I'm so happy to see her back. I know it got a few mixed reviews, with many speaking about the fact that she's mentioned every city she possibly could. BUT WHO CARES?

6. SUGAR - Maroon 5
I only heard this song about a week ago (ABOUT A WEEK AGO, WEEK AGO)... excuse me.

But yeah, I instantly fell in love. It's such a catchy tune and sits along perfectly with Animals and Maps, which I also love (MAROON 5 ARE ON A ROLL).

The video's cute too, basically M5 surprising people getting married and then them starting to dance in front of the stage.

7. LOVE ME LIKE YOU DO - Ellie Goulding
Can I just say, I am NOT an Ellie Goulding fan. She's just not really my cup of tea.

But praise should be given when deserved and this song definitely deserves it! I don't think it's really like any of her other songs and on this particular track, her voice sounds as good as ever. I can't stop playing it at the minute, because it's so catchy.

The Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack is winning so far!

8. TRUFFLE BUTTER - Nicki Minaj, Drake & Lil' Wayne

Nicki Minaj has been such an important part of my life in the past few months. First of all she featured in Beyoncé's remix of ***Flawless and then brought out her fantastic new album, The Pinkprint. (Which also featured Beyoncé)

Truffle Butter is one of my favourite songs from the album... so you can understand my frustration when it turns out it's only available on iTunes, after I'd bought the deluxe edition CD. (Oh well).

Nonetheless, it's a great song and you should definitely give it a listen.

9. #GETITRIGHT - Miley Cyrus
Okay, I understand that this one may seem like a strange one considering BANGERZ was released in 2013. But seriously, I never really appreciated this song as much as I do now. In fact, the more I have started to listen to it, the more it's grown to be one of the stand-out songs on the record.

It's got a great beat which is so positive and just makes you want to get up and dance and the words are so sexy. It's a shame Miley didn't go down the Beyoncé route and create a video for every song on the album because I would've loved to see how this song would have worked out!

Don't care what people say about Miley Cyrus, I find her so amazing.

10. CENTURIES - Fall Out Boy
Considering that the majority of the tracks on this list are pop songs, you'll be surprised that Centuries by Fall Out Boy is on here!

Honestly, I don't listen to them much so I couldn't really tell you the name of their albums or many of their songs, but they are such a great band (from what I've heard).

My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark was where it all started up with FOB for me (obviously when they performed with Taylor Swift at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show).

I love how the songs that I've heard are real powerhouses and I'll certainly try and listen to some more of them.

Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed.
